Jensen Beach, FL. The Magnificent Estate was designed by architect Mitchell Kunik of Affiniti Architects, and was built by Turtle Beach Construction Co. It boasts 6 bedrooms , 10 bathrooms, and a 22-car garage. The home's 42 gothic columns, 11 domes, 11 rotundas and 10 high arched windows are visible from the beach — and beachgoers have marveled at the mansion's progress since construction began in 2002. But now the more than $8 million project, located just north of the Jensen Beach Causeway, at 4545 N.E Ocean Blvd., is nearing completion. The home has 20,000 square feet of living space. Billionaire hedge fund manager Ken Griffin has added another trophy property to his real estate portfolio, paying $13.3 million for a condominium that takes up an entire floor at the Waldorf Astoria. Cook County property records show a limited-liability company tied to Griffin, the richest man in Illinois and founder of the Chicago-based hedge fund and financial services firm Citadel, bought the 37th-floor condo at 11 E. Walton St. in August. The Griffin venture bought the condo from former Chicago Mercantile Exchange CEO James McNulty, who paid $6.88 million in 2010 for the unit. Records show Citadel Chief Operating Officer Gerald Beeson signed a mortgage secured by the condo.
