Richard Mille collaborated with jewellry company Boucheron in coming up with a watch that is made of meteorites and other rare earth materials. The RM-018 Tourbillion exudes exclusivity as only 30 pieces of it have been made.
The RM-018 Tourbillion wristwatch is composed of chondrite meteorite from an asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars, thus, carrying a hefty $1 million price tag.
It is surrounded with precious stones such as tiger-eye, jasper, black onyx and diamonds.
It's case is made of pure 18-karat white gold and the strap uses rubber to offer maximum comfort. The top and bottom of the case are decorated with sapphire. Its dial is equipped with skeletonized hour and minute hand and a tourbillon at the 7 o’clock position.
The watch is also in celebration of Boucheron’s 155th anniversary as well as Richard Mille’s status as one of the best watchmakers in the 21st century.
